Assortment One: Designed for Movement, Built for Fatherhood
Share this blog with a dad who gets it!
This image is the foundation of Assortment One.
Not as a trend reference.
Not as a fashion moment.
But as a visual language for how modern fathers actually live, move, and lead.
When I started designing Papa De Luxe, I wasn’t thinking about seasonal hype or runway statements. I was thinking about real men, real movement, and real life the in-between moments that define fatherhood.
Movement Is the Starting Point
Every image here carries motion.
From the boxer skipping rope, to the father walking hand-in-hand with his child, to the relaxed silhouettes that allow full range of movement this collection starts with the body.
Fatherhood is physical:
- picking kids up
- getting down on the floor
- moving through the day without restriction
- training when you can
- being ready for whatever the day throws at you
That’s why Assortment One is built around freedom of movement.
Nothing stiff. Nothing restrictive.
Clothing that works with you, not against you.
Set or Single — Built to Adapt
One of the notes on this board reads: “Wear as set or single garment.”
That was intentional.
As fathers, we don’t always have time to plan outfits. We need pieces that:
- work together
- work alone
- work at home
- work outside
- work on school runs, gym sessions, coffee meetings, and quiet moments
Each garment in Assortment One complements the others, but none rely on each other. That versatility is the quiet luxury.
Reactive Black & Everyday Reality
The base colour is black — not because it’s safe, but because it’s honest.
Black absorbs life:
- early mornings
- late nights
- spills
- sweat
- wear
It’s reactive. It changes with light, texture, and movement. Just like fatherhood.
And yes dads wear shorts all year round. Because comfort, confidence, and readiness matter more than rules.
Authenticity Over Performance
Another word written here is “authenticity.”
That’s the anchor.
Papa De Luxe isn’t about dressing like a version of yourself you’re not. It’s about becoming more of who you already are. A father who leads by example. A man who moves with intention. Someone whose presence is felt before his words are heard.
This is clothing that doesn’t shout it stands firm.
Artwork, Bond & Modern Fatherhood
One image shows a father and child from behind, walking forward together. That’s not accidental.
Assortment One is about:
- the bond between father and child
- legacy in motion
- showing up daily, not perfectly
- being strong enough to be gentle
Modern fatherhood isn’t loud. It’s consistent.
The Feeling You Wear
The final note says it all:
“A feeling of movement and being able to conquer anything when you wear Papa De Luxe.”
That’s the goal.
Not confidence borrowed from trends but confidence built from alignment. When what you wear matches how you live.
Assortment One isn’t just clothing.
It’s a uniform for fathers who are present, disciplined, and always moving forward.
